   A bit of a blurb....

Sprout Santosa, Yoga and Life Wisdom Teacher

Yoga is an important component of my life and health, and I’m grateful to all the yoga teachers I’ve had over the years. If you've been as fortunate as I've been, you’ve had teachers who not only address keeping your body healthy and flexible, and who help you heal injuries, but who also impart a bit of teaching that supports you in getting through rough times – a teacher who lets you know you’re not alone in this maze we call LIFE.

Sprout Santosa is one such teacher, with a holistic approach to yoga. Along with guiding a well-integrated series of yoga moves, she often incorporates fine detailing of mind and emotions with tapping energy and calming points with empowering, integrating and relaxing mantras.

She also shares what I refer to as Lessons for Life – reading from a spiritual teaching, then weaving that teaching into the yoga session. She shares insights and reflections, transparently and generously offering how this spiritual wisdom is put into practical use in the challenges and blessings of her life – and how we might do so, as well.

If you’ve been looking for something extra, something special in your exploration of personal growth, while at the same time taking care of your body with yoga, I suggest you join us in one of Sprout’s yoga hours. She teaches at Full Lotus Yoga Studio, located at 827 N.E. Alberta Street, Portland, Oregon (enter studio through Carioca Bowls restaurant, a fabulous place to eat!), Wednesdays at 8 p.m. and Saturdays at 12:30. She also teaches private lessons, and you can contact her for details.
